Description

This course will help professionals to understand the typologies of abuse and the complexities of abusive relationships. You will be equipped to recognise how victims of abuse will present compared to those who harm posing as victims. An awareness of agencies who work with victims and those who harm you can signpost to.

Who is this course for?

This course is for professionals or volunteers who work in the health sector, social work, education settings and those who work in a safeguarding role and have responsibility for directly dealing with disclosures of domestic abuse and/or supporting victims and survivors. Learners should have a good understanding of domestic abuse.
