Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) Service

As of Wednesday 1 April 2026 the West Mercia IDVA Service is being delivered by Axis Counselling. All enquiries in relation to the delivery of urgent support for those at immediate risk of significant harm from domestic abuse should be directed to www.axiscounselling.org.uk

West Mercia Women’s Aid IDVAs continue to work alongside Cranstoun in support of the victim/partners of those who are engaged in the DRIVE, and Men and Masculinity perpetrator programmes.

West Mercia Women’s Aid IDVAs also continue to work as part of the Child Focussed Court programme (previously Pathfinder) in the area, providing support to the victims of domestic abuse who are going through the Family Court process to determine the arrangements for their children.
