This is an introduction to domestic abuse. We will cover the prevalence of domestic abuse, types of abuse and explore existing perceptions, myths and stereotypes and promote understanding of the impact of domestic abuse. We will provide an overview of the Specialist Domestic Abuse Service that West Mercia Women’s Aid provides.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who works or volunteers in the voluntary and community sector, sports clubs, businesses, or volunteers/staff in roles where they interact with the general public.
