Support for Men
How can you help me?
At West Mercia Women’s Aid we believe that every person has the right to live their lives free from abuse. Although we predominately work with female victims we also have specialist services for male victims of domestic abuse across Worcestershire. Our Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) also work with men across the whole of West Mercia.
What is an IDVA?
Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) work with male victims of domestic abuse throughout West Mercia. WMWA’s IDVAs are specialist ‘safety workers’ who provide advice and support through the legal, civil and court processes for those who are at high risk of harm from domestic abuse. IDVAs also work closely with local hospitals. For more information on how our IDVAs can support you please view our IDVA page.
