WMWA is looking to recruit an experienced Domestic Abuse Support and Advocacy Worker to work within a team whose focus is;
1) To work with families on the edge of care where there is a risk of family relationships breaking down, to prevent the child from moving into the care system
2) To prepare the family and child for the child’s return to the family/extended family in order to prevent the child returning into the care system
As the Domestic Abuse specialist in the team the successful candidate will provide client-centred and trauma-informed advocacy and domestic abuse support to women and children affected by domestic abuse, using a ‘whole-family- approach.
1 post 37 hours per week
Salary for 37 hours £30,045.37
