Sarah Evans, The Values Connection – Coaching Sessions

Sarah Evans from The Values Connection volunteered her time to help our service users through coaching sessions providing clarity, resilience and the courage and confidence to decide their next step. The Values Connection approach to coaching and personal development uses the proven power of storytelling to connect you with where you want to be. It is based on the traditional story structure that’s been around since around 300 years BC and is at the heart of how we connect to ourselves, to each other and to the world around us.

One of our clients commented, when discussing what they enjoyed about the workshop “Understanding more about myself and what drives me. I’ve never done values work and it’s been great self-awareness in a non-judgemental environment.”

The intention of these sessions was to provide clients with the tools and confidence to decide their next step, another client added “I can use it to help my decision making in the future; to know what my core values are for me to achieve the success in life that I desire.”

Sarah Evans is a qualified Coach, Speaker and Trainer who developed this unique coaching method following 25 years of leadership experience within the TV and independent film industries. She was responsible for managing script production across prime-time drama shows, before going on to create and deliver successful degree programs in screenwriting in the Higher Education sector. Her passion now is to use those skills and experiences to help people connect to themselves, their values and each other through the power of story.

Sarah continues to volunteer her time to WMWA by offering a session a week to our staff and clients to help them make important decisions about their future by connecting to their values and answering the question “What do I want to do next?”.

“I’m really happy to be able to help both staff and clients at WMWA… After the success of the group workshops, it’s lovely to be able to work with clients individually to help them get clear on their core values and how to use them every day. It really is powerful stuff!” Sarah Evans.

Sarah’s knowledge and time have been invaluable to our clients and staff. We are so grateful that she has been able to find time in her busy schedule to continue to work alongside us and contribute to our service.
