We are seeking to recruit a DA expert to work in a support and advocacy role working within refuge in Worcester, providing essential support to women and children who have been affected by domestic abuse. This role requires face-to-face support and working within shared residential accommodation.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience of advocacy and support work with vulnerable people
- Experience of working with victims of domestic abuse
- Good knowledge and understanding of the importance of culture, faith and heritage for those experiencing domestic abuse
- Experience of working in a multi-agency framework
- Knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse issues and the needs of adults, young people and children affected by it
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, and child protection processes and practice
Hours – 30, across 4 days
Salary FTE £27,053.42, pro rata £21,935.21
