We are looking to recruit a CYP Worker for the Penelope Project
The role is positioned to work within our project with the armed forces, providing essential support to women and children who have been affected by domestic abuse. This role requires face-to-face support and working in an environment with serving military, spouses and civil servants.
The role requires the successful candidate to;
Provide a range of targeted interventions to children and young people (5-18yrs) who are part of the military community and who are affected by, or at risk of, domestic abuse as part of a specialist and person-centred service in order to prevent harm and distress, improve their safety and supporting their recovery.
We are looking for someone who is;
- Extensive experience in working with children and young people
- Committed to the values of empowerment and equality
- Has experience of working as part of a team to improve outcomes for the vulnerable
- Holds knowledge and understanding of the military community
- Is passionate about working within this community to achieve accessibility to all
- A driver with the ability to undertake regular site visits
1 post 24 hours per week
Salary for 24 hours £16,798.08 (fte salary £25,897.04)
