Mobilise (formerly known as Worcester Arts Workshop) in partnership with Worcester Theatres, Arts Council England and Severn Arts present Badass Medusa #MeToo. Showing at Worcester Theatre’s on 7th, 8th, 9th March and Hereford Courtyard Theatre on 11th March.
A bold and brave retelling of Medusa’s story through collective rage, agency and a female gaze. The diverse, fierce, female-identifying collective challenge a misogynistic myth which has silenced and sexualised Medusa whilst intersecting current gender issues and questioning gender injustice women and girls face globally.
Worcester Theatres and Mobilise will be donating £1 of every ticket bought for Badass Medusa #MeToo to West Mercia’s Women’s Aid.
